We come from a small fishing village in the Peloponnese, Greece — a place where the sea is a way of life. As children, we used to join our grandfather on his boat, experiencing first-hand the magic of the Mediterranean.
Our grandfather, now 90 years old, has been a professional fisherman for over 75 years — braving the sea in all conditions to provide for his family. Our father grew up by his side, but was encouraged to pursue a different path and became a mechanical engineer — yet his love for the sea stayed with him.
In 1991, during a trip abroad in the UK, our father was reminded of that feeling and decided he wanted everyone to experience it: the peace, the connection, and the stories that come from the sea.
In 2012, we turned that dream into reality with fishingtrips.gr — inviting you to discover a unique and authentic side of Greece that’s different in every place, reflecting its rich culture and deep bond with the sea.
