Join us for a genuine Greek fishing adventure along the Athenian Riviera! This is a hands-on adventure where you truly get involved.
You’ll get to help pull in the fishing nets or longlines, seeing firsthand what we catch. Our crew will be there to show you the ropes, sharing with you how traditional fishing works. In between fishing, we’ll discover hidden coves only reachable by boat, perfect for a refreshing swim in the clearest blue waters.
Later, we’ll head to shore for a delicious meal. Imagine enjoying freshly pan-fried fish or a tasty seafood pasta, served with a classic Greek salad and bread. This isn’t just lunch; it’s a real celebration, often with music and dancing, giving you a genuine taste of Greek island life. It’s a fantastic mix of tradition, beautiful scenery, and great food!
Our journey begins at 8:00 AM from the peaceful at Porto Rafti, board a traditional fishing boat and meet your local guide for a day full of sea, flavors, and discovery.
We collect and haul in the nets or longlines, that the fisherman put in the water the previous night. You'll get a hands-on look at traditional fishing methods, help clean the nets, and even learn how to sort the catch. We repeat the process at a second fishing spot, giving you a true glimpse into the life of a Greek fisherman.
Between fishing stops, we take refreshing breaks at beautiful swimming spots accessible only by sea. Dive into the crystal-clear Aegean, relax on deck, or snorkel along the coast.
We head toward Gaidouronisi island, where a delicious meal awaits. Enjoy a quick swim in its pristine waters, then gather for a laid-back, music-filled seaside lunch, savor the fresh catch of the day (usually red mullet or bogue), fried or stewed, paired with seafood pasta or octopus with rice (when available), village-style salad, bread, and fruit. All served with warm Greek hospitality.
